This 90-minute class builds strength, flexibility, and coordination, while expanding the body's expressive range through a series of exercises and movement vocabulary.
Umfundalai: Community Class
Umfundalai is A Contemporary African Dance Technique that comprises its movement vocabulary from dance traditions throughout the Diaspora. This class can be tailored for beginners and ADVANCED dancers.

Choreography Class
Raemoves is a choreography-focused class or workshop, designed for intermediate to advanced dancers and celebrates black dances in both theater and social dance spaces. The movement style draws influence from Jamaican dancehall, African dance, the Umfundalai and Horton techniques, as well as African-American social dances and gestures. This class aims to help dancers develop their unique voice, connect authentically, emote effectively, and improve their ability to learn and retain choreography.
